Cheese That Pleases Everyone

Hello all, nice to have you back at our Get A Life blog.

I’m sure you’ve read the title and gathered what today’s post is about.

YES, in honor of our partners Damona Divine Cow, we are talking about all things dairy-free cheese today…BUT I’m going to go a bit deeper.

I wanted to see how many people are following this lifestyle and also the reasons behind it other than the liberation of animals, (which is not a small point) but I also don’t think it’s the ONLY thing that is moving this dairy-free lifestyle along.

As of 2017, Australia was the 3rd FASTEST GROWING vegan population worldwide (1). Like I said before, a large reason for this turn of lifestyle, which is not NEW more so as it is becoming more COMMON as people dig deeper into the story behind their foods, is liberating animals.

However, this post is not intended to feed you the details of that, though if you are interested I urge you to do some research of your own and learn a bit more about where your food comes from if you haven’t done so already.

This post IS, however, intended to see WHY dairy-free cheese and other products are popular amongst the population as a whole. Even those who have not taken on the lifestyle of veganism, and still eat animal products, choose to have dairy-free options.

WHY?

Let’s dig, shall we?

It’s true that every 1 in 6 Australians CHOOSE dairy-free (2). That’s not to say they don’t enjoy eggs in the morning, but it IS saying that the milk in their coffee and the cheese in their fridges don’t come from an animal.

If you think about it, it’s not that hard to believe and even those who believe it STILL have dairy products. That’s okay too because they DO taste yum and when you’ve eaten those products your whole life, you bet it’s going to be difficult to go cold turkey and try something else.

BUT, that my friends, is the reason there are such things as dairy-free cheese and almond milk, so you don’t have to go without while reaping the benefits all in one.

What a world we live in.

Giving up dairy, though it may take a moment to adjust can provide you with some benefits you may not have realized, such as clear skin, healthy digestion, less bloating and weight loss (3).

Did I just tick one or more of your box’s or did I? I KNOW, I passed out too.

Damona Devine Cow, a partner of our Get A LifeTV show, have an amazingly yummy range of dairy-free cheese that will answer the calls of those who haven’t tried this option yet for fear of a strange taste. That sounds a bit funny, but honestly, no one wants to eat food that doesn’t taste quite right, Damona have you covered and they’re worried about that for you.

YOU CAN’T EVEN TELL.

I’m going to leave a link below to some of the websites I perused as well as a link to Damona(4).

Give it a try, and if you’re not ready just pop it on your bucket list and try it soon.

See you next week.
