Tesla – More Than Just A Brand

I don’t know about you, but when I think of Tesla Motors, I think of those futuristic cars that were always shown in TV show and movies, leaving the audience members in awe with mouths agape.

Well, I think it’s safe to say that we are well on our way to getting those flying cars…no but really, the future is here and it’s GOOD FOR THE PLANET?! Hold On…

Differing from those dystopian movies that showcase the crazy cars of the future, Tesla have made them in real life. Not only that, but they have made them tastefully and with the benefit of being good for the planet.

When you think of things like cars, houses, phone, etc. being built and made better, there is always that sense of ‘I won’t do it but someone else will’. The only problem with that kind of mentality is that, if everyone has it then nothing ever gets done. We WANT new things that are bigger, better, faster and point towards a cleaner, greener future – but how do we expect it to happen by standing around twiddling our thumbs?

I think that’s the main point here, why there is so much hype and excitement when people look at Tesla, why we are all on the edge of our seat waiting to see what comes out next. It’s because, as a brand, they are making a difference in the world, they are creating the action of change by showing everyone that it is in fact possible to do so.

The way of the future is creating jobs for people in trades that are current, that are NOW, not creating jobs that are no longer relevant and then wondering why it all went down hill. This is a very broad and unspecific example of moving forward. I mean, I get it, it can be scary. Why? Because it’s never been done before. Why? Because it’s scary, and so on and so on.

I think we can take a page out of their book, stop standing idle and looking to othersto take the first step, and maybe go ahead and be the ones to start throw the stone and start the ripple.
